Style up - A Poetry!

Money in my pocket,
Eyes glued to the showroom,
What shall I look at;
Pepe Jeans, UCB tops or Zara gowns?

Messy curls, long and dark,
I need a brand new look,
Straightening machine, drenched hair;
Compliments my dress color blue.

Polished nails, clean toes,
Deciding what to wear?
Eyes drop on Jimmy Choo peep-toes;
They're just the perfect pair.

I have put my Black Maybelline Mascara,
And a little more of  mousse blush,
Applying my favorite Prada aura;
Now, eager to meet my heart-throb, sexy crush.

Make-up and Hair-style!!

          Make up and hair style are one of the key-factor. What does make up include? I'll give you brief list of what is usually or occasionally used by us..:

- Foundation.
- Blush-on.
- Lip gloss.
- Kaajal.
- Mascara.
- Eye-liner.
- Concealer.
- Eye-shadow.

       Some times you just require a foundation or sometimes nothing at all. Over- do of make up is wrong at wrong places. You cannot obviously do a heavy make-up and run off to college. It's completely insane. I have personally seen people wear heavy make up and going for street shopping, like it was a wedding. You honestly turn out to look like a clown. I'd say a clown would look better.

     If your a college going girl, you obviously want to impress some weird spiked boy in your class, so you tend to put on some make up. Well, I'd advice, don't excess too much, keep it unnoticeable. You can just wear a foundation, apply a little less than dark kaajal, and put on a layer of subtle color lip-gloss. This leaves your skin clear enhancing your eyes. Before putting any make up, do not forget to apply sun screen and always carry wet wipes along.

    If your dressing up for a party, you would want to get a little more fancy. So, apply the same mentioned above and add the rest. Put on a pink shade blush on your cheek bones. Now you cannot put the lightest shade of pink. You have to compromise it with your skin tone. Wear a suitable color matching to your outfit eye shadow. Don't spread it all over your eye. Apply eye-liner on it. Now, if you have  kaajal put on, let the eye-liner be thin enough. Don't maximize it. Brush your eye-lashes, curl them and apply mascara, only one layer. Wear a Dark lip gloss co-ordinating with your make-up and dress.

    Hair-style could be done anyhow. Avoid having a constant hair style. Try doing something different all the time. Men should avoiding applying excess of gel in their hair. Slightly spiked is pretty. When you over-do it, seems like you came out with an electric shock. You should try keeping it natural, it's very in these days.
Women should avoid using too much of hair accessories. One clip or band and your done. Done cover your hair with more.

FASHION DISASTER!!!!

              "Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccchhh!! My eye, my eyee.. MY EYE!!"

    That is a little over exaggerated, but that is almost how I reacted. Who wears red pants with black shirt and blueish grey tie witch blue sneakers? It's annoying and frustrating watch people dress like that. To make it worse,  he acted very cool, fidgeting with his choke chain, and passing comments on others. Like common, don't you ever look at yourself in the mirror?

     I was super close to going and making him aware of his actions, but well he had freaked me out with his color co-ordination. How do you get such people to help? I really think, that particular person also required medical help. Anyway, so my point here is, it's not wrong to mix match colors and get wacky. But, always remain to the ground, don't fly so high that people start calling you a fashion disaster. Forget other's you may end up laughing at yourself. Never mix two vibrant colors together, unless it's plain and has valid accessories. Wear one bright colour a day. It doesn't always have to be your top. Try exchanging your ideas. Get Indian, or mix Indian with western. Wear a kurti over your jeggings. You could also wear simple T-shirt and jeans accompanying them with colorful Mojaris. You could otherwise just hang a long Indian touch bag alongside.

      Don't wear a scarf around your neck when it's not necessary. It's really very annoying. I mean what? Is it a necessity? Try being simple and yet wacky. Avoid over-doing it.

High on brands?

         Following up on brands is the best thing. Your body gets comfortable to one type of quality and doesn't complain. It has negative aspects such as you are afraid to try new things. They never comfort you. So you get stuck to one thing almost like forever. That doesn't mean you don't stick to one brand. Start keeping variations, don't purchase already, but at least try out different things. Purchasing and trying out clothes is completely different. Fashion and styling is one thing, where until and unless you don't open your vision to all that is there and TRY OUT the outfit, it's just a waste of time and beyond that waste of enough money.

        Well, you could stick to 3-4 brands and try out various other brands. Brands like Pepe, Ralph Lauren, Levis, U.C.B, French connection, Versace, Channel, D & G, Espirit, etc.. are growing each and everyday. Their stock is re-newed every month. Get refreshed with every stock. Fashion is not limited to clothes, it also includes shoes, hand bags shades, watches, Jewels, etc.. Brands for these like those of Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Prada, Armani, Louis Vuitton, etc.. are the top rankers in the fashion world. Louis Vuitton has a distinct quality of never keeping sales. They never re-display their dead stock. It goes back to the company and is burned. Their every stock is brand new, consisting not even a pinch of dead stock.

        Brands like these, is a must to have a look at. Zara is a mojor upcoming brand, slowly eating up the young age. Best place to visit all these showrooms, have a look at Palladium at Lower Parel, next to Pheonix mill's.

To brands, one moto.. Try it, Buy it.. Don't think!!

Street shopping??

           Here's something new. Street shopping is something like purchasing a product at a lower price and in bulk. Of course you cannot guarantee the quality. But common, not like you'll get injected of some disease and die. Even if that were true, we would anyways still go, ain't it? Alright, so here the thing to do, when you decide to go street shopping:

- Don't go pick up usual tops and torn jeans.
- Try out something different.
- Look everywhere.
- Focus on accessories.
- Plain colors work the best and allows you to the mix matching job.
- Buy in bulk and avoid the same kind.
- Be free to colors, look at contrasting outfits.
- The most important thing at least for street shopping is, BARGAIN!!

         If you can't bargain, you will just have to learn to. Shop keepers tend to eat all of your money for something that's not even worth. Try all the street, it's slightly different everywhere, including the price ranges. Over here, we got Link road in Bandra, Colaba causeway and fashion street town-side. Also, when you purchase anything at all, re check the product. Some maybe defected, so you could ask for more stock. Carry more of change and money in cash. They don't have a shop, so keeping a credit card machine is just HAHA!! Always keep in mind, Street shopping and Bargain... go hand-in-hand!!

Fashion Tips!!

    One day I was randomly walking and passing by few shops, just when my eyes met with an accident. I saw a fat lady her tummy bulging out from all sides, wearing a body sticking florescent short top accompanied by a flared shaded long skirt and colorful tie-up's and to top it, excess of make-up. I hardly watched her for 3 seconds, but even today I can picture the image pretty well. It's shocking to see people dressed like that. And mind it, she was nothing less than 35 years. Could it get anymore worse?

     Hence, I thought of posting a fashion tip post which will help you guys with a valid option, or have every second person pass comments on your outfit. You pick. Again, I don't mean you HAVE to wear what I say, I maybe wrong too. Take it as an advice?

    Fashion Tip 1 : If your fat or over-weight on the upper part?
    Try wearing loose, slightly long tops. Tight fighting pencil jeans and around 2 inch heels. Don't get excited and wear 6 inch, balancing would be a major problem then. You could also hop in for a knee-length straight fit tube dress, it will avoid giving shape to your body. On regular basis, try wearing plain simple colors, more on the darker side. Concentrate more on accessories.

        Fashion Tip 2 : If your short and thin?
        Don't wear long dresses, they'll make you look even more short. When you're short and thin, you tend to have long legs, so wear short dresses and show them off, accompany them with ankle boots or gladiators. Don't accessories much. let the dress do the work. On regular days, try jumpers or leggings with a tunic and long hanging bags. Play with colors.

    Fashion Tip 3 : How to be casually formal?
    Well, this I owe to the men. It is indeed very challenging to dress up equally. Like we all know, dressing up for most of the men is like a chore unlike the women. You could wear a regular plain or checked shirt on a denim jeans accompanied by a jacket more of leather or a waist coat and boots. Don't forget your shades and watch, it signifies you. Tie doesn't really matter today. But if you still want to go ahead and wear it, Try plain bright colored small or average size tie's.
